Who is Chef Josh?

Chef Josh was born and raised in The Bahamas, where his earliest memories are filled with the comforting aroma of his mom’s cooking. Inspired by the way food brought people together, he lives by the saying, “food is the way to a person’s heart.” For Josh, cooking is more than a skill—it’s a creative outlet and a way to spread joy. After an internship as a line cook in New York, he graduated from George Brown’s Nutrition Management program in 2019, continuing to grow his passion for creating food that nourishes both the body and the soul.

His Signature Dish

Chef Josh’s signature dish is a classic Bahamian comfort meal: rice and peas, served with crispy fried fish and creamy coleslaw. It’s a staple from his childhood, one that reminds him of home, family, and the happiness a good meal can bring.
